  • Rates are determined by a combination of factors, including trailer type, accessories added, and the date of the move. There are no per mile charges for trailer rentals. All trailer and towing equipment rentals include unlimited miles.

  • ACG Rentals does not have a mileage charge for trailer or towing equipment rentals. All trailer and towing rentals include unlimited mileage. However, our equipment is not permitted to leave the 48 contiguous United Sates of America.

  • The laws vary from state to state. Normally, ACG Rentals customers moving their own household goods are not required to stop, because it is not a commercial move. However, some states require that all types of trucks stop at the weigh stations. If in doubt, stop at the weigh station. Please refer to state laws and regulations to determine whether you need to stop at a weigh station.

  • ACG Rentals trailers are equipped with automatic surge brakes that require no additional wiring not already included in a 7-pin connector.

  • Yes. A refundable cash deposit for each item rented will be collected at pick up and refunded when your rental is complete. The total estimated charges for your rental are due at checkout. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash.

  • Your ACG rental trailer must be returned to the location from which you picked it up.

  • Fishtailing or whipping is not normal. It is caused by mis-loaded cargo. Speed will make it worse. Slow down, get to a safe place where you can reposition your load and put more weight in the front of the trailer. A good rule of thumb is to put 60% of the cargo weight in the front of the trailer. Use plenty of tie-downs to keep the cargo from shifting while you travel.

  • For Canada: At this time, ACG Rentals does not have locations in Canada and our equipment is not permitted to cross the U.S./Canada border.

    For Mexico: At this time, ACG Rentals does not have locations in Mexico and our equipment is not permitted to cross the U.S./Mexico border.

  • All ACG Rentals trailers have multiple anchor points.

    Optional additional heavy-duty D-rings and other ratchet tie-down straps/systems are available for you to add to your rental.

  • All ACG Rental trailers are wired with a 7 Way Round Trailer Connector.

  • ACG Rentals couplers take either a 2" or 2-5/16th" ball. The ball must also be rated for the total weight that will be towed. 

  • If you encounter any issues or damages to the rented trailer during your use, please notify us promptly. We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Depending on the nature and extent of the issue or damage, we will assess and determine the necessary course of action. You may be responsible for repair or replacement costs, so it's advisable to review our rental agreement for specific terms and conditions related to trailer damages. Your prompt communication is appreciated, as it helps us maintain the quality of our rental equipment.

  • It might be possible that you may extend the rental period for a trailer if you require it for a longer duration than initially planned. Please direct your inquires to our team to discuss your needs and arrange for an extension. We will work with you to update the rental terms and ensure the continued availability of the trailer. Keep in mind that trailer availability may vary, so it's best to notify us about your extension needs as early as possible to secure the equipment. We're committed to accommodating your changing towing requirements.
